PREP ROUNDUP: Bautista, Sagarsee, Crawn, Miller fare well at Brown County

Addy Bautista of Terre Haute North secured third place in the Girls Elite competition at Brown County's Eagle Classic on Saturday. Leah Sagarsee of Terre Haute South emerged as the individual champion in the Girls AA race, while South's Landon Crawn and Aiden Miller showcased strong performances in the Boys Elite competition. Bautista, Crawn, and Miller all demonstrated their skills against top state runners, with Bautista finishing the race in 17:17.98.

The Boys Elite competition saw South and Northview competing closely, with South placing 12th (309 points) and Northview at 13th (311 points). In Girls AA, South finished second with 92 points, followed by Jasper, the Patriots, and Northview. South's Leah Sagarsee placed second with a time of 20:02.80, while North's Gabby Scamihorn secured sixth with 109. The Braves claimed third place in Girls Golf at Coyote Crossing, with Terre Haute North in sixth.
