Ohio State controlled the game throughout, leading by 20 points heading into the final quarter. However, they surrendered their lead in the final stretch. Michigan Wolverines superfan Dave Portnoy couldn't help but mock the Buckeyes' disastrous fourth-quarter collapse on X, accompanied by an abundance of laughing-crying and skull-and-bones emojis.

Portnoy observed that it's common for the Wolverines and Buckeyes to be fierce rivals, which makes the collapse all the more amusing. However, Ohio State struggled in the second half with an ineffective offense, failing to run the ball effectively and on defense allowing 21 unanswered points.

Had Connor Hawkins' missed field goal from the fourth quarter gone through, Texas would have opted for a field goal instead of a touchdown to secure the victory.
