New satellite image shows Ozon warehouse in Saratov likely destroyed after Ukrainian drone strike

Ukrainian forces reportedly targeted energy infrastructure in the occupied city of Mariupol on September 13, as a fire continued to burn in southern Russia's Taganrog following a previous attack, according to monitoring channels. Part of the city faced power outages due to the strikes, with a building in Mariupol suffering damage after Russian air defenses engaged, as reported by Telegram channel Exilenova Plus.

Simultaneously, fuel storage tanks at a military airfield in Taganrog have been burning for two days straight, Exilenova Plus also noted. However, the veracity of these claims could not be independently confirmed by the Kyiv Independent.

On September 12, Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) forces had targeted an FPV-drone production facility, drone storage warehouses, an oil-products tank, a radar system, and a Pantsir-S2 air-defense system in Taganrog, as President Volodymyr Zelensky announced. Eyewitness footage from that day purportedly captured large fires at an airfield near the city, as reported by monitoring channel Supernova Plus.

On the same night, Ukrainian long-range drones struck the Tolyattiuchuk plant in Russia's Samara Oblast, leading to a fire outbreak on-site, as Ukraine's General Staff reported.

Ukrainian forces have been conducting these strikes deep within Russia and occupied territories to weaken Moscow's capacity to continue its war, but Russian attacks persist. Earlier on September 13, Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) reported that a Russian drone hit the locomotive of a Kyiv–Warsaw train, approximately 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from Ukraine's border with Poland.

On September 12, Russian forces launched a large-scale drone attack on western Ukraine, damaging a passenger train in the northwestern city of Lutsk. At least five individuals were injured in Volyn Oblast, while power outages occurred in neighboring Rivne Oblast, according to regional authorities.
