Learning is not a race for certificates, researcher says

Nursing doctoral researcher Hussein Al-Safran asserts that the true value of learning lies in its impact and problem-solving capabilities, rather than in the accumulation of certificates. In an interview with Al-Ikhbariya Radio, Al-Safran emphasized that while certificates serve as proof of learning, the real measure of its value is the influence it has on one's thinking, performance, and problem-solving abilities.

Al-Safran stated that the ultimate purpose of learning should be to transform acquired knowledge into something that benefits others. "I should be able to turn what I have learned into something that benefits others," he said. He further explained that continuous learning is crucial, but it should not be reduced to a competition for certificates.

Al-Safran noted that knowledge is a means to an end, and with time, he found that the most rewarding aspect of learning is not the certificate itself, but the realization that the knowledge acquired has helped solve a problem or assist someone else.
