Jets safety Minkah Fitzpatrick leaves early with a groin injury vs the Titans

(AP) — New York Jets safety Minkah Fitzpatrick suffered a groin muscle injury in the opening quarter of Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans and was subsequently ruled out for the remainder of the match. Initially, the Jets had categorized Fitzpatrick as questionable to rejoin the game, but quickly downgraded him to doubtful status in the third quarter, and ultimately confirmed his absence shortly after.

The relocation of the football star followed a seemingly unimpeded fall close to the Titans' end zone, triggered by a scramble from Tennessee's quarterback, Cam Ward, near Fitzpatrick, who was already on the ground.
