VeryDarkMan, a prominent social media critic, has called upon Benue State youths to shift their focus from politically motivated mobilization to combating the insecurity plaguing their communities. Reacting to the disruption of Peter Obi's 2027 presidential campaign visit, VeryDarkMan expressed pride in the large number of youths who gathered, but noted that this energy could be better utilized to address pressing issues such as killings and banditry.

Acknowledging the youths' experience with insecurity, including attacks on farmers and killings, VeryDarkMan expressed concern over the perceived lack of mobilization when communities faced such threats. He recalled the Yelewata massacre protests, where participants were dispersed with tear gas, raising questions about the discrepancy between political protests and community defense.

VeryDarkMan criticized politicians for exploiting Benue youths' frustrations for political gain while neglecting to address the state's security challenges. He urged the youths not to be used in political battles between rival camps and urged them to redirect their collective strength towards demanding better security, good governance, and protection for their communities.

VeryDarkMan emphasized that the controversy surrounding Obi's visit should serve as a wake-up call for Benue youths to recognize their power when acting collectively.
