Houthi missiles target military base in Saudi Arabia as Iraq probes drone attack on oil pipeline

Houthi missiles struck a Saudi military base in southern Arabia, according to Yemeni Houthi sources. The attack targeted the base, its weapons depots, and command centers. Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree warned of further strikes if Yemeni government forces continue attacking.

Meanwhile, Iraq is investigating a drone attack on a Saudi oil pipeline. Fourteen days ago, drones from Iraq hit the East-West oil pipeline near Riyadh and Medina. The pipeline, a crucial route for Saudi oil, was shut down as a precaution. Experts believe the drones used were advanced, long-range models, given the attack's distance.

In response to the attacks, Iraq has intensified security measures. They have confiscated a drone-launching platform and are collaborating with Saudi authorities to trace the equipment. Iraq has also closed several border crossings with Iran for security inspections.
