Houston Dash fire coach Fabrice Gautrat and technical director Twila Kilgore

On Sunday, the Houston Dash announced the firing of head coach Fabrice Gautrat and technical director Twila Kilgore. The team has a 7-12-5 record and is currently 12th in the National Women's Soccer League with six games remaining in the regular season. Jaime Frias will serve as the interim head coach for the remainder of the season.

Gautrat, in his second season as coach, and Kilgore, who became technical director in February following her tenure as USWNT head coach, were let go. Dash president Angela Hucles Mangano stated that the team's confidence in their squad remains strong, despite the decision to part ways with the head coach and technical director. The club believes in the abilities of the players and aims to continue advancing towards its goals.
