Heartbreaking! 9-Month-Old Falls From Moving Seemanchal Express, Body Found After 23 Hours; Parents Face Further Agony

A nine-month-old boy perished after tumbling from the emergency window of a moving Seemanchal Express while journeying with his parents from Delhi to Bihar. The infant allegedly fell from his mother's lap as she was nursing him and plummeted from the train near Faizullahpur station in Uttar Pradesh. The distress for the parents was compounded, as they claim passengers obstructed the father from triggering the emergency chain due to the forested surroundings. The child's body was discovered in foliage approximately 23 hours later.

Mohan Kumar, a clerk from Delhi's Sitapuri, was on the trip with his wife Kajal and their newborn son in the S-1 coach of the Seemanchal Express, berths 61 and 64. The family was en route to Salauna village in Bihar's Begusarai district. Upon reaching Faizullahpur station, the parents informed the GRP about the incident. The police report suggests that Mohan had ventured to the restroom while Kajal was feeding the baby, who subsequently fell asleep in her arms.

The child slipped from her lap and fell through the emergency window as the train traveled near Faizullahpur station. Upon returning, Mohan discovered his son missing and attempted to pull the emergency chain between Khaga and Sirathu, but was allegedly thwarted by passengers and escorts citing the forested area along the railway track.
