Dunk scores screamer as Brighton thrash 10-man Coventry

Leeds United and Newcastle United face off in a Premier League match, with both sides maintaining an unbeaten start to the season. In only three seasons prior to the current one, Leeds managed to avoid defeat in each of their first four Premier League games, a feat most recently achieved in 2001-02 when they finished in the top five for five consecutive years.

Despite their identical Premier League record, Newcastle have scored twice as many goals as Leeds this season. However, the Magpies have also conceded twice as many goals. Newcastle have scored twice in all three of their Premier League games, despite only having eight shots on target in total. Their four shots on target in their past two league matches have resulted in four goals, indicating clinical finishing.

But, this level of performance may not be sustainable throughout the season. Additionally, while Newcastle is maximizing its chances, its opponents are not. The Magpies have faced the highest number of shots in the division (61, averaging 20.3 per game) but have only conceded four goals.
