Christian Harrison & Neal Skupski Win 2026 US Open Men's Doubles Title After Defeating Krawietz-Puetz

New York, Sep 13 - American Christian Harrison and British player Neal Skupski claimed the 2026 US Open men's doubles title by defeating German team Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz, 6-4, 7-6(6), in Saturday's final. This victory marked their second Grand Slam title of the year, as they previously won the Australian Open men's doubles in January.

The pair displayed their resilience when a break point slipped past them at 4-3, 40/30 in the second set, but they managed to save a set point at 5/6 before clinching the tie-break and ultimately the match in a decisive one hour and 39 minutes. Harrison expressed his gratitude towards his partner Skupski, stating that winning two major titles this year feels like a dream come true, especially since he accomplished it on home soil.

The champions maintained a perfect record throughout the tournament, never losing a set, and won all five of their tie-breaks during the hard-court event, making them the third men's team in Open Era history to achieve such a feat, following Peter Fleming and John McEnroe in 1983 and Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan in 2008 and 2010.
