Chinese Enterprises Chamber pledges deeper partnership with Keta Education Fund

The Chinese Enterprises Chamber in Ghana has reasserted its dedication to advancing education in the Keta Municipality by committing resources to the Keta Education Fund. During an event to donate educational materials to the local education directorate, Mr Wang Jinxiao, President of the Chamber, emphasized that the partnership transcends politics and institutional interests, positioning the donation as a collective investment in the education, dignity, and future of every child in Keta.

Recalling a previous partnership with the Keta Education Fund and Sunon Asogli Power Ghana Limited, Mr Wang highlighted the provision of over 1,000 desks to schools across the municipality, demonstrating that coordinated efforts among government, traditional authorities, communities, and the private sector can yield tangible development outcomes.

He stressed that education must remain a priority, unaffected by political or institutional changes, and called for sustained attention to the pressing educational challenges faced by the municipality.

Looking ahead, Mr Wang proposed initiating discussions for a broader partnership with the Keta Education Fund and other stakeholders, focusing on educational exchanges, technical and vocational training, and skills development. This expanded collaboration would encompass institutional collaboration, entrepreneurship, technology, investment facilitation, job creation, and improved health services, aimed at building capacity, strengthening institutions, creating opportunities, and promoting sustainable local development in Keta.

Mr Wang expressed confidence in Keta’s human and economic potential, asserting that through unity of purpose, effective leadership, strategic partnerships, and sustained investment in people, the region's full potential could be realized. He also welcomed the call for Ghana-China collaboration and urged all stakeholders to support the initiative for the region's progress. Keta’s Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Wisdom Seade, pledged support for the development of education in the municipality and beyond.
