China's Xi pushes 'Greater Brics' economic ties to give bloc larger global role

The success of the "Greater Brics Initiative" depends on laying a solid foundation for pragmatic cooperation and cultivating an integrated market. To promote cooperation on AI, China will establish a Brics AI Open Source Zone, where members can work together on large language models, AI training, and an open AI ecosystem. Additionally, China proposed creating a Brics Special Economic Zone partnership and hosting a Brics Service Trade Forum next year to boost trade and investment ties.
