Bamanga Tukur: Nigeria has lost a statesman — Adebayo

Presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Prince Adewole Adebayo, has mourned the passing of former PDP National Chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur. In a condolence message, Adebayo hailed Tukur as a distinguished Nigerian statesman, administrator, businessman and elder, whose contributions to Nigeria and Africa would remain etched in the country's history.

The SDP candidate conveyed that Tukur devoted much of his life to public administration, business development, leadership and national politics. Adebayo detailed his personal experience of collaborating with Tukur in his investments in Adamawa, focusing on indigenous shipping promotion and NEPAD leadership under Tukur's guidance.

Adebayo extended his deepest condolences to Tukur's family, the Adamawa State government, friends, associates and the wider Nigerian community. He expressed his hope that Tukur's legacy would continue to inspire future generations to serve humanity and advance Nigeria. Adebayo also prayed for the deceased's family and loved ones to find strength and solace amid their loss, and for Tukur to rest in eternal peace.
