Democratic House members are expected to discuss AI response as the top priority in the House of Representatives vote on the 15th. The concern that the United States may fall behind China due to unilateral slowing of development is seen as a major obstacle for regulation, similar to the 'prisoner's dilemma' where both countries are hesitant to back down first.

A discussion on AI risk management is expected to be a major talking point during the planned summit meeting between Trump and Chinese State Councilor Xi Jinping on the 24th at the White House.
