37 Indian deep-tech startups attend Bharat Innovates event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Brics leaders explored India's deep-tech advancements at the Brics Bharat Innovates (BBI) exposition in New Delhi. The event, organized by the Union education ministry, showcased 37 Indian startups working in emerging technologies. Companies like Tricog Health, QpiAI, Chara Technologies, Quantsolar Technologies, EyeRov, and Periwinkle Technologies displayed their innovative products.

Tricog Health, for instance, presented its AI-powered cardiac diagnosis platform, claiming to have assessed over 35 million patients across 12,000 facilities. QpiAI, led by Dr. Nagendra Nagaraja, displayed its superconducting qubit-based quantum computers, including the eight-qubit Qvidya system and the 64-qubit Kaveri processor.

Chara Technologies, by Bhaktha Keshavachar, exhibited its rare-earth-free electric powertrain technology for electric vehicles. Quantsolar Technologies, directed by Pankaj Kumar, showcased a floating solar photovoltaic platform for deployment on intricate water bodies. EyeRov, led by Johns Mathais, introduced its marine robotics platform featuring remotely operated, autonomous surface, and autonomous underwater vehicles, alongside AI analytics for infrastructure inspection.

Periwinkle Technologies, managed by Koustubh Naik, unveiled AI-enabled cervical cancer screening, delivering risk assessments in under 60 seconds. Union education minister Pralhad Joshi emphasized the initiative's role in connecting Indian startups, educational institutions, and research entities with global investors and partners.
