2027: Defence Minister Mobilises Kaduna for Tinubu, Uba Sani

General Christopher Musa, the former Defence Minister, has been mobilising support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani ahead of the 2027 general election. This effort was led by his political mobilisation structure, GCG Musawah 4 PBAT 2027, which he established to garner support for the re-election of both leaders.

Musa, in a meeting with local government coordinators of the movement in Kaduna, reiterated his commitment to Nigeria’s success. He called upon Nigerians to unite and work together, stressing the importance of religious tolerance, national unity, and peaceful coexistence. Musa, who grew up in Sokoto State, shared his experiences of interfaith friendship, recalling how children would assist with Sallah celebrations. These experiences served as a testament to the strength of communal bonds across religious and ethnic lines.

The minister highlighted Nigeria’s vast resources, both human and material, which could be harnessed for national development if citizens remained united and committed. He urged the GCG Musawah 4 PBAT 2027 and other Nigerians to view nation-building as a collective responsibility, emphasizing that sustainable progress hinges on unity, determination, and commitment to the national interest.

Ambassador Polycarp Gankon, the national coordinator of the movement and former APGA governorship candidate, appreciated Musa’s ongoing support and personally engaging with the coordinators and representatives of the affiliated groups. Gankon noted that the minister’s visit served as a significant boost to the movement’s mobilisation activities across Kaduna State in preparation for the 2027 elections.
