Zscaler CEO Highlights AI Security Surge, Zero-Trust Momentum at Citi Conference

Zscaler CEO Jay Chaudhry emphasized the accelerating demand for AI security and zero-trust architecture during his appearance at the Citi TMT Conference. The company expanded its AI-security portfolio from six to seven integrated products, with security-for-AI bookings surpassing $100 million over the past year. Net-new ARR growth accelerated from 7% in fiscal 2025 to 17% in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026.

Customer adoption of Zero Trust Everywhere also surged, increasing from 300 customers to 950. Zscaler reported record million-dollar deals, a record pipeline, and its highest sales productivity in about four years. The company's priorities for fiscal 2027 include agentic security and flexible purchasing through its new Z Flex offering.

Chaudhry highlighted the growing interest in AI security and zero-trust architecture among large enterprises, citing the formation of cyber task forces and the use of AI models to discover internet-exposed assets and vulnerabilities.
