‘We’re going to do it our way,’ says skipper Kolisi as Boks hunt RGR trophy

Springbok captain Siya Kolisi reaffirmed his team's commitment to their unique playing style, stating they were aiming for a 3-1 series victory over the All Blacks in the Rugby's Greatest Rivalry finale. Speaking at a Friday press conference, Kolisi expressed hope of securing the series after their team's recent wins, following their loss in the opener at Ellis Park.

Returning from injury, Kolisi's leadership was instrumental in securing the next two matches along with the Boks' 2-1 lead heading into the final game. The All Blacks have allegedly described the Springboks' style of play as slow and dominated by forwards and kicking, but Kolisi dismissed such claims, insisting they would continue playing "the Springbok way."

This approach includes a set-piece attack, kicking, and freedom for players like Kurt-Lee Arendse and Cheslin Kolbe. The All Blacks, too, have made changes to their team for the final match, including bringing back veteran fly-half Richie Mo'unga. Kolisi acknowledged the challenge this poses but remains confident, stating, "We know what's coming.

The All Blacks are great. It has been a tough three games so far. It has been really hard, but we definitely want to win the series."
