Kyiv region bore the brunt of an attack, while Zhytomyr and Rivne regions endured continuous shelling of gas stations. Zelenskyy denounced the latest wave of terrorist assaults, urging Western allies to respond with commensurate strength. He lamented the world's failure to match Russia's escalation with an equally resolute stance, emphasizing that a fitting response is one that can halt the carnage and safeguard lives.

A joint, collective effort is the only viable solution, as the Russian army had already launched drones and Onyx anti-ship missiles against residential districts in Odesa, causing extensive damage to a 25-story building, killing two and injuring over 30, including children.
