Swiss, Indian research bodies to promote social science research, academic exchange in Bihar

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has welcomed a proposal from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) to promote social sciences research in the state. The proposal was discussed during a meeting between Choudhary and representatives of SNSF and ICSSR, including Max Bergman, Zinette Bergman, Dhananjay Singh, and Neeraj Kumar.

The representatives expressed their desire to work with the Bihar government to strengthen research culture, promote academic exchange, and develop new research opportunities in social sciences. Choudhary emphasized the importance of social science research in understanding society's needs and improving policymaking.
