Settlers attempting to target West Bank farm open fire on Palestinians

Israeli settlers engaged in a violent confrontation with Palestinians at a farm located east of the Al-Mughayyir village, situated northeast of Ramallah, on Friday. The incident occurred after Palestinian residents attempted to deter the settlers from targeting a nearby poultry farm. Wafa news agency reported that Israeli forces later arrived on the scene, responding with tear gas to protect the settlers while clashing with the Palestinians. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this particular incident.

In a separate and equally disturbing incident, two Palestinians from the Al-Mughayyir village were injured when they were attacked by settlers on the Al-Ma'rajat road that connects Ramallah and Jericho. The two men, including Muhyi al-Din Abu Naim, were returning from work in Al-Auja, a town in the Jericho governorate, when they encountered a vehicle with a flat tire.

As they attempted to offer assistance to the driver, a group of settlers, who had arrived in two vehicles, launched a violent assault on the two Palestinians using sticks and sharp objects. Both men suffered fractures and bruises as a result of the attack and required medical treatment.

Adding to the growing list of violent incidents, Israeli forces also opened fire at a vehicle in the city of Al-Bireh, located in the central occupied West Bank, on Friday evening. The attack caused the vehicle to overturn, as reported by Wafa. The exact circumstances leading to this incident remain unclear at this time.
