The police received two reports from victims aged 25 and 35 years old on September 9 and 10. The suspect was arrested in the Taman Perling area on September 11 around 5:40 pm.
According to the police, the suspect had a prior criminal record, while the initial urine test was negative. The suspect is now being held for seven days, starting today until September 18, to assist in the investigation, said Arsad in a statement. The case is being investigated under Sections 392, 323, and 506 of the Criminal Offences Act.
