Indore ITI Hosts IndiaSkills 2026-28 Workshop To Boost Participation Of MP Youth

Indore's Government Divisional Industrial Training Institute (ITI) hosted a workshop for the upcoming IndiaSkills Competition 2026-28 on Friday. The event sought to increase the participation of Madhya Pradesh's youth in the prestigious national-level skill competition. Organizers aimed to educate students and representatives from various institutions about the competition's processes, rewards at various stages, and registration procedures.

MPSSDEGB assistant director Ashu Kumar Sahu and training superintendent (technical) Rajesh Sharma addressed the attendees, explaining the competition's multiple phases. They urged young people to identify skills that align with their interests and abilities, and then actively participate in the competition. The principal of Government Divisional ITI, Reena Solanki, and other officials and employees from participating institutions were also present.

The primary goal of the workshop was to expand outreach and ensure more eligible youth register for the competition. Officials highlighted the necessity of organizing awareness-cum-registration camps at educational and training institutions to facilitate participation. The initiative hopes to provide skilled youth with a platform to display their talents and compete at national and international levels.

Participants were encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity, ultimately helping to bring recognition to Madhya Pradesh and India through their skills.
