Indianapolis Colts Injury Report: Ins and Outs

The Indianapolis Colts released their final injury report for Week 1 prior to their opening season matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. After a week of practice reports, it is clear which players will be playing and which ones are questionable. Wide receiver Alec Pierce is continuing his limited practices but has not received a game designation, meaning he is ready to play on Sunday against the Ravens.

Pierce may be given a snap count to gradually acclimate him to the speed of game action. Safety AJ Haulcy, who is expected to start on Sunday, finished off the week with full practices and is highly likely to be rotated at strong safety with second-year safety Hunter Wohler. Defensive tackle Deforet Buckner and Grover Stewart, both missing practices this week due to rest, are fully available for Sunday’s game despite their missed practices.

Cornerback Charvarius Ward was limited in the final practices but had previously disclosed a back injury for the season. Quarterbacks Anthony Richardson and Sedrick Van Pran-Granger have overcome their respective illnesses and are cleared to play Sunday, though they will be backups in their positions. Linebacker Austin Ajake is the sole player with a game injury designation and is currently listed as QUESTIONABLE to play against the Ravens. Ajake missed practice with a hamstring injury late in the week and is likely a game-time decision.
