Ho Chi Minh City leverages global partnerships to fuel sustainable growth

Ho Chi Minh City is leveraging its expansive international network to fuel sustainable growth by opening the 3rd HCMC Friendship Dialogue. The dialogue aims to turn the city's network of partners into a resource for development, focusing on investment, trade, logistics, science and technology, innovation, and sustainable development.

The event, held on September 11, brought together 35 delegations, including 500 domestic and international delegates. The dialogue's theme, "Local diplomacy: Driving innovation and sustainable growth," highlights the city's commitment to transforming its extensive network of partners and international connections into concrete resources for development.

Key topics discussed included innovation, seaports and logistics, and the potential for coordination among governments, businesses, and international partners to address challenges in local diplomacy and international integration.
