Ganges thrashed Mumba Masters 16-1, while Pipers beat American Gambits 9-7, with Magnus Carlsen defeating Javokhir Sindarov and handing his POTM trophy to Vidit Gujrathi. Ganges lead on game points, while Gambits need a win and help.
