When a family from Finland decided to leave their tranquil Nordic surroundings and relocate to Mumbai, they embarked on a vibrant new chapter in their lives. Touko Helanen, an educator and media professional, and Janika Tuunainen, a dance teacher and gymnastics coach, brought their two young children, Lila and Eeli, to the bustling city in the summer of 2026. Through their social media presence, the family shares their daily experiences in the metropolis and their discovery of a contrasting side of India.

In a recent video, Touko stood against the backdrop of Mumbai's night skyline, expressing, “Think you know India? Look again.” He emphasized that the family's experience in India was vastly different from the often portrayed image of the country.
