El saber ya no ocupa lugar

The Tao Te Ching states, "The one who knows, speaks little; the one who speaks, knows not." Perhaps the one who truly understands is so engrossed in learning or work that they have no time to speak, or they remain silent not by choice, but because no one asks them. During the recent collective display of chest-beating and accusations against others following the latest PISA report, I heard many universal experts, didactic professors, regional advisors, virulent political spokespeople, and even a minister for education who had remained silent until now.

However, something that has not been seen or heard in any print or digital media, television or radio outlet is the voice of any teacher or educator, be they from high schools or universities, aside from those specializing in arcane knowledge such as Didactics or Psychopedagogy.
