Egypt condemns attacks on Saudi pipeline as violation of international law

Egypt has strongly denounced a series of attacks on a pipeline situated in the Riyadh and Madinah regions of Saudi Arabia. The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declared these attacks as a clear breach of international law and a significant threat to regional security and stability. In a statement released by the ministry, the attacks were vehemently condemned.

Egypt emphasized its unwavering support for Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its full solidarity with the Kingdom. This support extends to aiding Saudi Arabia in defending its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity against any entity that poses a threat. Just before the attacks, a Ministry of Energy source reported that the East-West pipeline in the named regions had been targeted multiple times on the morning of Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Subsequent to the assault, the pipeline was immediately shut down as a precautionary measure. Several individuals were injured during the attacks, and medical assistance was promptly provided to those affected.
