Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko expressed confidence in his team's ability to overcome their first-leg deficit against TP Mazembe in the CAF Champions League preliminary round second leg. The Ghanaian side suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat in the first leg, leaving them with a challenging task in the return fixture. Tanko acknowledged TP Mazembe's quality and tactical discipline, particularly their organisational skills and counter-attacking approach.
Despite the away first-leg result, Tanko believes his team created enough opportunities and could have altered the result had they converted their chances. He remains respected of TP Mazembe's quality and anticipates an intriguing clash in Lubumbashi on Saturday at 2:00 pm kick-off.
