Bhiwandi Students Create Eco-Friendly Ganesh Idols As 225 Children Showcase Creativity At School Competition

Bhiwandi: 225 schoolchildren in Bhiwandi initiated the festive season by crafting eco-friendly Lord Ganesha idols, as part of an environmentally conscious competition organized at NES English Primary School. The event, organized by Dhamankar Naka Mitra Mandal and Swabhiman Seva Sanstha, aimed to foster creativity among children while introducing them to the significance of responsible celebrations.

Under the guidance of school principal Mansi Raje, the students used various types of clay to create a diverse range of Ganesha idols. The school premises transformed into a vibrant creative space as the young participants shaped the clay into unique designs. The activity not only showcased the children's artistic abilities but also emphasized the importance of adopting environmentally friendly materials during festivals.

The organizers emphasized that the initiative was meant to provide the students with a platform to express themselves, develop a sense of responsibility towards nature, and instill awareness about environmental conservation from an early age. Principal Mansi Raje highlighted the role of such activities in the overall development of children, noting that they help unveil hidden artistic talent, enhance environmental awareness, boost confidence, and foster patience.

Raje further stated that the school encouraged maximum participation to ensure that the students could learn through creativity and practical activities.
