2027 campaigns require aggressive mobilisation – Tele Ogunjobi tells Ogun APC

Tele Ogunjobi, Executive Director of Finance at South West Development Commission, SWDC, has urged the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ogun State to adopt a strategic and aggressive approach in grassroots campaigning ahead of the 2027 elections. The call was made at a strategic political meeting held in Ago-Iwoye, Ijebu North Local Government Area, on Friday.

Ogunjobi stressed that every member of the party must remain dedicated, organized, and fully committed to APC’s electoral agenda. He emphasized that the 2027 elections would necessitate a well-orchestrated grassroots mobilization strategy to convert political support into actual votes at polling units. He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the electoral triumph of President Bola Tinubu, Governor Dapo Abiodun, and Senator Olamilekan Adeola, also known as Yayi.

During the meeting, Tele Ogunjobi directed the Tele Ogunjobi Political Movement to appoint and deploy two canvassers in each polling unit across the three local government areas that constitute the Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency. The purpose of this initiative is to bolster the movement's grassroots presence, foster direct communication with voters, and ensure that each polling unit becomes a hub for continuous political engagement, voter mobilization, and election-day coordination.

The political leader also urged members of his movement to bring the APC's message directly to the people. He stressed that political mobilization should extend beyond meetings and rallies, calling for sustained engagement at the ward and polling-unit levels. Attendees at the meeting included the Director-General of Caucus 7202, Olaseni Koiki, and other leaders and members of the group.

Members from the three local government areas, who converged at the gathering, displayed solidarity and pledged their active participation in the upcoming 2027 mobilization structure.
