‘You allow politicians to use you’ – VDM blasts Benue youths

Social media personality VeryDarkMan has criticized Benue youths for allowing politicians to exploit them, despite the ongoing security challenges in the state. During an Instagram Live session, VDM addressed his visit to Benue and expressed his disappointment with the behavior of the state's youth. He stated, "Most of you are bastards, most of you youths are bastards.

Politicians will use you, after election they will still kill you people." VDM warned that there could still be casualties in Benue, Nasarawa or Jos during the December period and urged the youth to resist being used by politicians for political activities. The activist also shared details about an incident in Yelwata, claiming that a military checkpoint was near the area and that soldiers had been instructed not to move.

He mentioned that a police officer, who was reportedly drunk, intervened when gunmen started shooting, enabling the victims to escape. VDM's visit to Benue was aimed at raising awareness about the dire situation and the need for the government to acknowledge the problem. He concluded by reiterating the message that youths must not allow politicians to use them. "The purpose for this video is don’t let politicians use you," he emphasized.
