US pressure on Iran has reached critical, dangerous level – Pezeshkian

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has warned that pressure from the United States and Israel has reached a critical and dangerous level. Speaking in India ahead of the BRICS summit, Pezeshkian stated that Iran has faced heavy sanctions for years, but the pressure has intensified in recent months due to military aggression by the US and Israel.

He said, "Iran has been subjected to heavy sanctions in recent years; this pressure has reached a critical and dangerous stage in recent months following the military aggression by the United States and Israel." The US introduced Operation Economic Outcast last month, imposing unprecedented restrictions aimed at cutting off economic lifelines supporting the Iranian government.

Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran should strengthen its resilience to withstand future challenges and not support continuing the war with the US. He urged universities to collaborate with the government in addressing the country's challenges and warned that economic policies must consider existing social conditions.
