UET Lahore Announces Walk-In Admissions 2026

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has announced online merit-based walk-in admissions for the 2026 academic year. The application window opens on September 11 and closes on September 15. Candidates must complete the entire process online, including generating a challan and submitting their application. They can choose one program, campus, and category based on their merit, as determined by the fourth merit list.

Those who applied for leftover seats previously but were not selected can apply for free. Existing students who have secured a seat can also apply, but they must generate and pay a new Rs. 3,000 challan. This requirement also applies to candidates who did not apply earlier. The admission process schedule includes the opening of the application portal on September 11, a deadline of September 15, and weekly processing of applications.

Subsequent merit lists will be issued on Fridays, with the second and final round opening on September 19. Applicants can select their preferred discipline, campus, and category, as long as it aligns with their merit. While applicants may choose a department even if no seats are currently available, UET emphasizes that applying does not guarantee admission. The university advises candidates to regularly check the admission portal for updates.
