Uba Sani appoints new commissioners, aides to deepen reforms

Governor Uba Sani has recently appointed three new Commissioners, 45 aides, and 40 members of various boards, with the aim of accelerating his administration's development agenda and reinforcing institutional reforms. Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ibraheem Musa, made the announcement in a statement. The appointees will contribute to accelerating the administration's transformational agenda, optimizing public service delivery, and fostering sustainable economic growth.

Ben Kure, Managing Director of Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC), will serve as Commissioner of Sports Development, while Amina Akilu Dalhat becomes Commissioner of Special Duties I and Abdullahi Garba Abbas takes up the role of Commissioner of Special Duties II. Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Dr Haliru Soba, will be Deputy Chief of Staff Administration.

The new appointments include Alhaji Munir Jafaru, Board Chairman of Kaduna State Health Care Board, and AVM Bashir Gamagira Saidu, Board Chairman of Kaduna Vigilance Service Board. Other appointed individuals include Hon. Justice Gideon Isa Kurada (Rtd), Board Chairman of College of Education, Gidan Waya; Esther Bago, Board Chairman of Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development; Dr. Yusuf Aliyu Bature, Board Chairman of Kaduna Hospital Supply Management Agency; and Engr.

Namadi Musa, Board Chairman of Kaduna Rural Access Roads Authority. Governor Sani commended the new appointees for their exceptional track records of excellence, integrity, and dedication. He encouraged them to bring fresh perspectives, reject complacency, and fully support his administration's vision for a transformed and resilient state.
