One of the primary concerns is that the final price in your home country may be higher than the US-listed price. In the UK, for example, taxes and duties such as VAT will likely increase the cost of the device. Additionally, customs duties may apply if the iPhone is shipped from the US, making the overall savings less significant than initially thought.

Another critical consideration is SIM compatibility. As of now, all new iPhones sold in the US are eSIM-only, which means they don't have a physical SIM card tray. In contrast, UK new iPhones still support both eSIMs and physical SIM trays. This discrepancy means that if you're on a contract with a physical SIM in your home country, you'll either need to switch to an eSIM contract or convert your existing SIM to eSIM in order to use the US-sold iPhone.

Regarding warranty issues, Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty covers iPhones against defects for one year from the original purchase date. However, Apple may restrict warranty service to the country where the device was originally sold. This policy could mean that if your US-sold iPhone experiences issues, you'll likely only be able to claim warranty support in the US, not in your home country.

Nonetheless, Apple's UK Returns and Refunds policy allows for a full refund if the iPhone is returned in-person at a physical Apple Store within 14 days.
