KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Zul Ariffin, 40, has learned to be more cautious in his dramatic scenes due to a legal issue from four years ago. Zul believes the experience taught him not to blindly follow every instruction given in scripts. He emphasized the importance of collaboration among actors, stating that failing to do so could lead to being "thrown under the bus."

Zul confessed that he made the mistake of putting himself in a vulnerable position, which resulted in him receiving a RM30,000 fine for uploading sensitive content on social media. Despite the incident, Zul welcomed the decision to re-edit the drama Madu Atau Racun following allegations of sensitive scenes. He also criticized netizens for jumping to conclusions on social media, asserting that the platform is not an authority or a suitable place to report issues. Zul, however, acknowledged that social media can be a source of income for some.
