S’hail 2026 concludes a decade of passion and heritage

The Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition, S’hail 2026, concluded its 10th edition on Saturday with a robust public turnout and widespread international participation. The event marked a decade of consistent growth, solidifying S’hail's position as a premier event for falconry, hunting, and heritage, as well as a hub for tradition, innovation, business, and tourism.

Throughout the 10-day exhibition, visitors of all ages engaged in activities, explored cutting-edge products and equipment for hunting, falconry, and desert expeditions, and attended auctions, competitions, and cultural, heritage, and artistic programs. S’hail 2026 also welcomed prominent dignitaries, underscoring the exhibition's increasing significance in promoting Qatari heritage and bolstering its international standing.

The final day of the event highlighted the falcon auction, which drew interest from falconers and enthusiasts across Qatar and beyond, solidifying its reputation as a key highlight of the exhibition. The day also acknowledged sponsors and participating companies for their contributions to the exhibition's success, as well as recognizing competition winners such as "Best Burqa," "Best Participating Pavilion," "Best Garage," and "Best Poem about the Falcon."

These competitions infused the event with creativity and competitive spirit, celebrating various facets of falconry and its rich heritage. Malka Mohammed al-Shireem, member and secretary of the Supreme Organising Committee, noted that S’hail 2026 received significant media coverage from local, Arab, and international outlets, reflecting the exhibition's decade-long journey driven by passion, heritage, and innovation, emerging as one of the world's leading specialized gatherings for falconry, hunting, and heritage.
