San Miguel de Salinas prepares for September packed with fiestas, music and family fun

San Miguel de Salinas will be immersed in festivities throughout September, featuring live music, family entertainment, food, parades, and traditional celebrations in anticipation of the feast of San Miguel on September 29. The main program kicks off on Saturday, September 12, with a rocket launch, foam party, and DJs in Plaza de la Libertad, setting the stage for a varied schedule catering to various age groups.

The following weekend includes a neighborhood dinner, street decoration competition, and the official fiesta proclamation. Bella Donna will provide live music as the festivities gain momentum, accompanied by the 16th Tapas Route, offering local businesses an opportunity to showcase their dishes. Family activities will persist through the events, including inflatables, traditional games, and children's activities.

A fire and light show will conclude the festivities before Children's Day on September 24, featuring reduced-price fairground rides. The following day, September 25, a giant water slide will grace Calle Torrevieja, catering to family enjoyment. Entertaining activities will continue into the evening with an 80s music celebration.

The grand float and fancy dress parade will traverse San Miguel de Salinas on Saturday, September 26, followed by free pizza and music. The main fiesta day, September 29, commences with a morning street band and hot chocolate, followed by children's and main fireworks displays, a religious Mass, and a traditional procession in honor of San Miguel.

The fiesta's core themes of tradition, entertainment, food, and family-friendly activities will persist beyond September, with a paella competition scheduled for October 4, extending the celebrations into the following month. San Miguel de Salinas will conclude its 2026 fiesta program on October 7, bringing an end to several weeks of townwide festivities.
