Samsung is reportedly developing a new clip-on earpiece called the Galaxy Buds On or Galaxy Able. These wireless earbuds have been spotted in hidden vector icons within One UI's code. SammyGuru recently shared an official render of the product, which shows two rounded earpieces connected by a silicone band. The larger round bulb houses the earphone's driver unit, while the flat-ended piece sits behind the ear, featuring a concave surface for touch control. The render is shown in black, but a white variant is also expected.
The earphones come with several features, such as "Auto Volume" which adjusts the volume automatically in noisy environments and "Volume Boost" that increases the volume but may cause sound leakage. The Buds On support nod and shake gestures, similar to those found in the Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro. They also allow users to wake their preferred AI assistant (Bixby or Gemini) using voice commands or touch gestures, as well as start a new voice memo and have it transcribed.
