Sachin Pilot throws challenge to CJP: Show same courage in AAP-ruled Punjab

Former Rajasthan deputy chief minister and Congress party in-charge for Punjab, Sachin Pilot has challenged the CJP (Cockroach Janta Party) to conduct an audit of schools in AAP (Aam Aadmi Party)-ruled Punjab "with the same courage" as it has done in other states. Pilot made the remarks following a CJP audit of three schools in Ludhiana, Punjab, which was led by Saurav Das.

The audit involved visiting a government 'School of Eminence', a government senior secondary school, and a government primary school. Das's video showed that while the School of Eminence had good infrastructure, the other two schools had multiple issues, including poor toilets. Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains had also promised action on the complaints following the audit.

However, the audit has been criticized by some social media users, who alleged that CJP was being too lenient with schools in an AAP-ruled state as opposed to others. Pilot addressed this criticism, stating that any audit of schools in Punjab or elsewhere is welcome, but requested that CJP employ the same scrutiny and courage they did in other states.

Meanwhile, AAP leaders have challenged Pilot to compare the schools in Punjab with those in Congress-ruled Himachal Pradesh, asking Pilot to show them 1,000 excellent schools in Himachal Pradesh.
