In Rwanda, the fight against illegal alcohol has become a national priority. For several weeks, authorities have stepped up seizures, shut down factories and recalled dozens of brands, following a series of deaths linked to bottles contaminated with methanol. Our correspondent travelled to Bugesera, where 18 people died on the same day after being poisoned by these drinks.
