PC Peripherals to create up to 20 new jobs in Galway and Dublin amid rebrand

Irish technology firm PC Peripherals plans to expand its workforce by up to 20 new positions in Galway and Dublin as part of a €2.5m investment and acquisition by Grafton Education. The company, which provides technology services and solutions to schools and businesses, will create roles across various departments including technical services, engineering, operations, customer experience, sales, and education technology.

The rebranding to Eduvolve and leadership change include Ian Gaughran becoming CEO and Fintan Costello as technical director. Gaughran expressed excitement about the future of the business, highlighting the company’s three decades of trusted relationships with education institutions. Erik Jentetics, founder of Grafton Education, emphasized the significant impact of technology on his own education and the belief in schools’ ability to access advanced technology through a streamlined supplier network.

Additionally, cybersecurity firm ZeroRisk secured $10m in Series A funding to fuel global expansion, product development, and operational capacity.
