Opposition holding consultations to call all parties-moot on creation of new provinces, other issues: Gohar

The opposition has announced plans to hold consultations with all political parties to address key issues, including the creation of new provinces, law and order, and the economy, according to PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan. During a meeting with Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Khan stated that the party will take political parties into confidence on all national matters.

He emphasized that the current law and order situation, economic challenges, and provincial issues necessitate an all-parties conference. Gohar described the meeting as a positive development and expressed optimism that the consultations would persist. In a separate development, Opposition Leader Mehmood Khan Achakzai in the National Assembly reported that a meeting with Senate Opposition Leader Raja Nasir and PTI leaders, including Gohar, led to the decision to convene an all-parties conference as soon as possible.
