Man faces 22 charges over four shootings in Surrey, B.C., in 2025 and 2026

Surrey Police announce a man faces 22 charges following four shootings in the city. Three of the incidents occurred at the same residence, with a fourth shooting happening on Aug. 12 involving two people. No fatalities were reported. The accused, a 37-year-old man, appeared in court on Aug. 24, facing charges including recklessly discharging a firearm and possessing a gun contrary to an order.

Additional charges were laid on Sept. 4, including firing a gun, aggravated assault, and carrying a gun with an altered serial number.
