KP Launches New App to Verify Sales Tax Invoices Instantly

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has officially launched its KPRA Sahulat mobile application on Google Play Store, providing citizens, taxpayers, and businesses with digital access to various sales tax services. The Android app is free to download, with an iOS version in development for eventual release on Apple’s App Store.

Key features of the app include real-time verification of sales tax invoices via QR code scanning, allowing citizens to report suspicious receipts directly. The platform also features a sales tax calculator, an offline Schedule-II tax rate checker, and a live tax calendar for deadline tracking. Users can submit complaints through the app and track their status, offering a digital grievance redressal system alongside tax-related tools.

KPRA Director General Irum Naz highlighted the app as part of the provincial government's commitment to enhancing governance and public service delivery, emphasizing its role in making KPRA services more accessible and transparent. The app was developed in-house by KPRA’s ICT team and is now available for free on Android, with an iOS version expected soon.
