‘It’s a murder done by the system': CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke on MPSC aspirant Prathamesh Deshmukh's suicide

Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has described the suicide of MPSC aspirant Prathamesh Deshmukh as a "murder done by the system," urging the government to prevent such incidents from occurring again. Deshmukh, 28, allegedly took his own life in Pune, leaving behind a note indicating he had a debt of around ₹2.5 lakh. He was living in rented accommodation in Pune while preparing for competitive examinations.

Dipke visited Deshmukh's grieving family in Paranda, Dharashiv, and expressed his belief that the government had failed to provide quality education and employment opportunities to the youth, leading to widespread discontent. Deshmukh had borrowed money from friends to cover his living expenses in Pune, but faced pressure due to paper leaks and delayed results, which increased the stress on students.

The CJP founder criticized the functioning of the MPSC, alleging improper examination processes, delayed results, and paper leaks. He emphasized that the financial difficulties faced by rural youth, such as the lack of employment opportunities and the soaring costs of living in cities like Pune, are significant factors contributing to such tragedies.

Dipke also highlighted the need for the government to address the reservation issue, as people have lost faith in the government and are seeking constitutional remedies for better facilities and opportunities.
