Google AI Plans Get 4 New Free Features

Google has introduced several enhancements to its subscription plans for Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra, expanding AI capabilities within various services. New voice controls, an AI image generation tool, and interactive spreadsheet features have been added. Additionally, Google’s Gemini Spark agent now offers broader access.

Voice interactions have been enhanced in Gmail, Docs, and Keep. Users can now speak naturally to search their inbox, draft documents, and take notes using spoken instructions. These voice features are available to Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers, while Docs features require AI Pro or Ultra subscriptions.

Google Pics, an AI-powered image creation and editing tool, is now available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. This tool can generate graphics from prompts, modify objects, edit or translate text inside images, and produce multiple variations from a single request. It can be used for creating posters, social media graphics, and digital illustrations, and is integrated into Docs, Slides, and Drive.

Sheets users with Google AI Pro and Ultra can now create interactive mini-apps using natural-language prompts. The Gemini Spark agent can now work with Chrome and Google Photos, enabling web-based tasks and image editing. This feature is available in the United States and is set to expand to other markets. Free AI Pro plans are also continuing for eligible college students in the United States and more than 140 countries outside the US.
